HOW TO GET HEALTH TRADE LICENSE IN DELHI
The health trade license is for a business undertaking in Delhi engaged in the activity which has a possibility of a health impact on the population; Firm producing food material, hospitals/clinics/any other business activity that involves handling of products or services or having potential to cause a health impact. The license is dominated by the Health Department of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and the process is done afresh such that the business-oriented individuals adhere to hygiene and safety standards.

1. Determine Eligibility

2. Prepare the Necessary Documents

Identity proof (Aadhar card, passport, voter ID, etc.)
Address proof (electricity bill, water bill, lease/rent agreement, etc.)
Photographs (passport-size)
Business registration certificate (if applicable)
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Fire Department (if required for your business type)
Food Safety License (for food businesses under FSSAI, if applicable)
Layout or blueprint of the business premises
Medical fitness certificates (for staff, especially for food handling)
3. Complete the Application
You can apply for a health trade license through the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) either:
•Online: The application form is available to fill on the website of the MCD or on the e-District portal of the Delhi government’s e-District portal.
•Offline: The application form can be obtained from the nearest MCD office or Health Department office and submitted there.

4. Submit the Application
•Now the fourth step is to submit the application along with required documents.
•Pay the necessary fee.
5. Inspection of Premises
The MCD can then submit your business premises for an inspection to make sure that health and safety standards are met.
• Safety issues (food handling in particular)
• Good ventilation, waste disposal and schedule an inspection of your business premises to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The inspection is generally conducted by a health officer or inspector who will check for factors like:

6. Payment of Fees
Now you will need to pay the fees as per size of your business.
7. Health Trade License will be issued
When the inspection is successful and all requirements are met, your business will be issued with overall health business license. We send it by post or you can collect the license at the office.
8. Renewal
Health trade licenses are usually valid for one year, and need to be renewed. Make sure to apply for renewal before your license expires without getting penalties or interruptions to your business.
